Kuni received a BFA degree from Osaka University of Arts. In Japan, he held major clients such as Panasonic, NTT Group etc. After a flourishing career spanning a wide range of design genres, he decided to make the move to Hawaii in 2005. By 2007, Kuni ascended to the title of President & Art Director. He currently overseas all design centering on Japan-related companies.

Bringing over 10 years of design experience and expertise to Clarence Lee Design, Laron has worked with multiple local, national, and international clients, ranging from small startups, to large corporations–implementing a variety of integrated brand identities, high-profile campaigns, and strategic marketing solutions.
Chief Graphic Designer
Born and raised in Hawai‘i. Shyrah joined Clarence Lee Design in 2013. A graduate of University of Hawaii’s BFA Graphic Design program, she contributes to design and development of various projects, including brand identities and packaging design. Her belief that design can help the world thrive is why she loves giving back to Hawai‘i and creating effective solutions through graphic design.
ERI (ELLEY) NIWA
Born in Japan and raised in Hawaii. Eri joined Clarence Lee Design in 2017. She earned a BA in political science at Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan. After graduating, she went on to receive an AAS degree in graphic design from the Parsons School of Design in New York City. She contributes to a wide variety of project ranging from print, branding, and web design.
