KUNI YAMAMOTO

Kuni received a BFA degree from Osaka University of Arts. In Japan, he held major clients such as Panasonic, NTT Group etc. After a flourishing career spanning a wide range of design genres, he decided to make the move to Hawaii in 2005. By 2007, Kuni ascended to the title of President & Art Director. He currently overseas all design centering on Japan-related companies.

LARON MIYASHIRO

Bringing over 10 years of design experience and expertise to Clarence Lee Design, Laron has worked with multiple local, national, and international clients, ranging from small startups, to large corporations–implementing a variety of integrated brand identities, high-profile campaigns, and strategic marketing solutions.

Chief Graphic Designer

ETSUKO ONO

Born in Yokohama, Japan. Etsuko joined Clarence Lee Design in 2010. Earned a BA in Japanese language and library science in Japan. Received a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Hawai‘i. Interested in intercultural communication in a multicultural setting, i.e. getting along in Hawai‘i. Drawing on a varied career and skill set, she designs with a simple and minimalist sense honed in her mother country.

SHYRAH ESTEBAN

Born and raised in Hawai‘i. Shyrah joined Clarence Lee Design in 2013. A graduate of University of Hawaii’s BFA Graphic Design program, she handles design and development of a range of projects, including brand identities and packaging design. She has worked on projects for Hilton Grand Vacations, Sun Noodle, and Ito-En just to name a few. She loves giving back to Hawai‘i, and solving problems through graphic design.

MIHA BANU

Although born and raised in Romania, Miha now calls Honolulu her home. After completing her degree in New Media Arts – Interface Design from Kapiolani Community College in 2013, she joined the team at Clarence Lee Design, where she contributes to a myriad of projects ranging from print, branding and web.

Born and raised in Japan, Hirona joined Clarence Lee Design in 2014. Being a graduate of New Media Arts Interface Design at Kapiolani Community College, she currently handles graphic designs, prints to front-end development. Fluent in both Japanese and English. Obsessed with cats and unicorns.
