CLD Holiday 2012

Christmas Loves Designers!

  |   News Releases

A

ccording to dictionary.com, a designer is “a person who devises or executes designs, especially one who creates forms, structures, and patterns, as for works of art or machines.” Designers everywhere can either crash-and-burn or shine at Christmas. Everyone is always trying to come up with new ways to re-invent the Holiday Season whether it be a picture, an ad, a brochure, a website or even a Christmas Card.

Have you ever heard the phrase for K-I-S-S? Keep It Simple [for the] Stupid?  While we are in no WAY calling anyone “stupid”, the phrase does have a point. It’s a phrase that designers do but don’t take lightly.  As part of the Clarence Lee Design family, we are always trying to “top” what we did the year before.  It may sound funny, but we like it when you think of us and smile.  So this year, we stuck to our roots and kept it simple. We created our very own CLD photo booth complete with props.

As designers, we have one of the best jobs in the world – making a thought or idea come to life.  Whether it’s on paper or through a picture – it’s pretty fun knowing that what we created was a mere “twinkle in your eye” that we helped make a reality.

It’s safe to say that Designers are the “middle man” or a “messenger” from the source to the destination.  Keeping that in mind, this is why we say Christmas loves designers. Why? Because designers get to play a part in bringing to light and conveying that Christmas Spirit to people everywhere – like you!  It helps that we like making people smile (just look at us).  So don’t forget to laugh a little bit this holiday season – it’s always good for the soul.

Happy Holidays from Clarence Lee Design!
