On March 28th, 2022, Clarence Lee Design’s own Laron Miyashiro was invited to participant as a judge for Kalaheo High School’s student graphic design challenge.

It was an honor to be asked, and really a great experience meeting with all the students. Each student would present their designs pertaining to the graphic design challenge. This year’s challenge was to put together a Branding design and promotion package for Kualoa Ranch’s “Secret Island”. It was so interesting to hear the different student ideas, concepts, and challenges. They all seem to be very passionate about design, with some students producing some really great ideas.

From my side, it was really great to be able to give my own recommendations, thoughts, and just overall support and encouragement.

The winner of the school challenge will then go on to compete at the state level for the regional awards. Go Mustangs!
