Naillabo Honolulu
Nail Salon Website Design & Promotion
Client: Naillabo Honolulu, Godspeed Co., Ltd
Located in the heart of Waikiki on the first floor of the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel, Naillabo is a renowned nail salon that opened in 1995 as the very first of its kind in the area. With over 170,000 customers served, it is known as the pioneer of “Hibiscus Art,” inspired by Hawaii’s state flower. Its clientele spans from tourists around the world to brides seeking special nail designs for their Hawaiian weddings.
Following a change in ownership, the salon sought to revamp its website and promotional materials to strengthen its brand presence and attract new customers. The key challenge was to communicate the salon’s rich legacy, unique charm, and the essence of Hawaii through updated visual and digital design.
Brand Refresh for a Long-Established Nail Salon in Waikiki
Our first step was to define the brand’s core strengths and story. We then directed a series of on-location photo shoots using professional models, capturing the natural beauty and relaxed spirit of Hawaii that aligns with the salon’s identity. These visuals served as the foundation for both the website and brochure design.
To reach a global audience, all materials were produced in both English and Japanese. With a focus on cost-efficiency, the website was designed with a streamlined structure that still maximized impact and usability. Every element—from photography and layout to multilingual content—was executed with high attention to quality, resulting in a strong promotional tool for the renewed Naillabo brand. This branding project marked a new chapter for Naillabo, setting the stage for its continued success in Hawaii’s highly competitive hospitality and beauty market.
