Royal Hawaiian Cookie

“Royal Hawaiian Cookie” is a new type of sweets that is a flat cookie base topped with nuts coated with caramel. Upon starting its own brand, it needed a branding mainly concentrating on its package design. The goal was to develop a unique packaging that visitors chose and talked about, eventually become the new hit of a made in Hawaii gift.

We developed a package design with “ECO reuseable packaging” as the concept. For their signature product, we used a paper tube that could later be reused as an accessory case or a pen holder. The design of the dark brown Hawaiian leaf as the main visual with 6 different pastel colors to separate each flavors increased its added-value as a made in Hawaii gift that had a natural sense of Hawaii. A stylish and quality brand image was created through a unified visual for crunch and crispy as well.

Paper Tube Packaging

We expressed a sense of Hawaii through the brand visual of the paper tubes and natural textured lids. The designs were finished with an elegant touch alongside the pastel color belts that divided the flavors.

Stand Up Pouch Packaging

We renewed the existing labels on the bags to a new original design printed on the entire bag. We created the new design while keeping the previous design in mind so that the consumers will still be able to recognize the product.

Label Design

By using an existing pouch then placing a label on it, we were able to make the packaging affordable for customers to use them as a distributing gift.

Gift Box Packaging

For the gift box packaging, we used a solid firm box that came with 3 smaller boxes within that can later be reused as an accessory case.
