Clarence Lee Design Was Listed as an Example in the Japanese Business Book “The Internationalization of Japanese SMEs and Local for Global Innovation”
Clarence Lee Design was listed as an example in author Kentaro Yoshida’s book on business, “The Internationalization of Japanese SMEs and Local for Global Innovation”. The book analyzes the example cases of Japanese SMEs and migrant entrepreneurs who have succeeded in creating innovation locally after overseas expansion. In addition, the book summarizes the advantages and the challenges of SMEs’ overseas expansion from a new perspective.
Kentaro Yoshida, a professor of economics at the Komazawa University, visited Clarence Lee Design four times in total over two years from 2018 to 2019 and interviewed our representative, Kuni Yamamoto; the analysis content is summarized on page 26. In addition to Hawaii, this book also contains examples from Thailand, Italy, the Philippines, and other countries.
